Dear lady at the park,

Yes I know I called the cops on you.  But letting your three years old twin girls play on the jungle gym while you sat in your truck and alternated honking the horn at them and sleeping for over 45 minutes is NOT OK. Even allowing the weird white lady (me) to push them on the swings and catch them when they went down the slide??  You were at least 200 feet away from them in your car!!  Lord only knows what could have happened to them.

Yes I know I fled like a scaredy cat as soon as the police pulled into the parking lot in fear for my life, but I panicked.  Your lowrider suburban and less than friendly attitude made me very happy to run.

Hope the cops scared the crap out of you and you never do that again,

**Sidenote to my readers… I am praying like crazy that the lady in the truck was the babysitter and not the girls mother.  They didn’t talk much so I wasn’t sure.  They were however, very well dressed, clean, unbruised, polite and happy kids.  There was nothing about them that led me to believe they were not well loved and taken care of at home.  My gut says that this was either the big sister or the babysitter sitting with them at the park.  Regardless, they were used to this and it clearly has happened in the past.  My only regret is not staying and talking to the police to make sure they were aware the girls were completely unattended (besides myself) for over 45 minutes.  I told the 911 operator this and gave her all of my information but I never received a call.
